Bawk, bawk, to ........bawwwwk or not to bawk

Well,  as plans unroll and unravel questions come to mind like  "is this all madness?" , or  "am I the only one who see's why the building process results in unaffordable housing?"...........................after taking a deep breath more questions come to mind like,   "maybe I should have chickens!!".  The question then becomes,  "to have chickens or not to have chickens?"  This is the direction I'd like to focus on.

It's a  pleasurable thought, don't you  think, to  wake up and have  fresh eggs everyday?   So, this is going to require some chicken research.  At this point, all I know  is that the idea of fresh eggs would be great; and wouldn't it be a great children's play area?

2014 to 2016

We like to think that after taking time, being thoughtful, doing research and carefully planning that  things will roll forward smoothly.

It was important to respectfully take steps to creating, or maybe continuing to create is better said, more than a house and place to live.  Posting this song is a share that is simple and makes me feel happy.  A few photos taken while spending time in the attic give an idea of the energy that's hanging around;  enjoy the patterns in the dust.

And our story begins......

This week we close the door on the history of previous owners and open the window on the Big House coming into our lives.  It will also be a pleasure to share a few pictures of the descendants of the family who lived at 851 union from 1926 to 1935.  What a treat to share stories and give them a tour of the house their parents/grandparents/great grandparents lived in.

Bringing us closer to the present

This week we look closer into the Italian's who lived in the Big House -- this section takes us from 1944 to 1969 so enjoy the read.  Meanwhile here are a few images taken while spending time at the house enjoying the shadows of light and their reflections through what are now melting glass windows..........
